Content Policy for Gist Answers

The following policies apply to all Publishers implementing Gist Answers. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue participation for any Publisher that fails to comply with these requirements.

Ownership

Publishers must be able to prove that they own the domain. This makes sure that the website can be modified only by authorized users. Prorata.ai may contact the website owner to verify ownership.

Content Policies

Publishers cannot have any of the following content:

Illegal or Harmful Content

Illegal activity or promotion of such (e.g., piracy, fraud)
Hate speech, incitement to violence, discrimination of any kind, or harassment
Pro terrorism-related content or extremist ideology
Child exploitation or abuse
Animal cruelty or trafficking in endangered species
Content that glorifies or promotes self-harm, suicide, domestic abuse or eating disorders

Adult or Explicit Content

Pornography, deepfake sex imagery, or sexual services
Non-consensual sexual themes or extreme fetish content
Content featuring or appearing to feature minors in adult contexts
Content that is deemed invasive to privacy and breaches confidentiality

Weapons, Drugs, Alcohol and Explosives

Sale or instruction of firearms, explosives, or related parts
Promotion of recreational drug use
Sale of unregulated pharmaceuticals or supplements
Promotion of underage alcohol consumption, and irresponsible alcohol consumption by adults

Abusive or Shocking Content

Graphic violence, gore, or death imagery
Depictions of extreme violence or criminal acts
Profane or obscene language used prominently

Intellectual Property Abuse

Infringes Copyright
Sells counterfeit products

Behavioral Policies

Information provided by Publishers to enable interaction with Gist answers
Must be materially accurate and complete, without misleading omissions.
Cannot be expressed in a deceptive or misleading manner
Answers or Ads cannot be placed on “dead end” screen where the user is not able to exit the screen without interacting with the Answer or Ad
All Prorata Services will comply with sanctions and export controls maintained by the United States Treasury Department’s office of Foreign Assets Control, United States Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security and other applicable sanctions. So, Prorata Services are not available to any Publishers in violation of those sanctions.

Privacy Policies

Publishers cannot engage in

Unauthorized sharing of personal data, images, or communications
Doxing, blackmail, or other privacy violations
Collecting Content that invades private lives without consent or legitimate public interest

Trustworthiness

Publishers shall not engage in

Phishing and scams
Misleading or fraudulent financial schemes
Distribution of hacking tools, spyware, or unauthorized surveillance software

Manipulative media and Misrepresentative Content is not allowed. Some examples are listed below

Deceives users through manipulated media related to social issues or politics
Misrepresents or conceals information about the publisher, the purpose of the content or the content itself
Falsely implies having an affiliation with any individual, organization or service
Health misinformation contradicting authoritative medical guidance
