Create Your Gist Console Account
Before you can add the AI-powered search bar to your website, you’ll need an account in the Gist Console.
This "control center" allows you to manage settings, connect your content, and customize your AI. Follow these simple steps to get started:
1.📫 Sign Up for Your Account
Navigate to the Gist signup page. You'll find a straightforward form designed to collect your essential information.
- First Name & Last Name: Personalize your account and streamline any future support you might need.
- Email: This will be your primary login and how Gist communicates with you. Please ensure it's accurate, as it's crucial for verification.
- Create Password & Confirm Password: Secure your account. Your password must be at least 8 characters long for optimal security. Re-entering it helps confirm accuracy.
Once all fields are completed, click Create account.
2.✅ Verify Your Email Address
After signing up, Gist sends a verification email to confirm your ownership of the provided email address, ensuring only you can access your new account.
- Check Your Inbox: Look for an email from
ProRata ([email protected]). Remember to check your spam or junk folder if you don't see it immediately.
3.🤝 Confirm Your Account
Open the verification email and take the following action:
- Click the Verification Link: Locate and click the "Verify Email Address" button. If the button doesn't work, simply copy the provided link and paste it directly into your web browser. This step securely verifies your identity and prepares your account for use.
4.⌨️ Access the Gist Console
Upon successful verification, you'll see a confirmation:
Email verified!
Click Continue to Gist Console to be redirected to your new dashboard. From here, you can begin connecting your website content and setting up your AI-powered search bar.
